Our Story
From Humble Beginnings
Unique Umbrella Effect was founded in 2015 by Kathy McLain Hair with a vision of bringing businesses, professionals and community leaders together under one umbrella—not only to network, but to serve.
Kathy recognized that many individuals and families needed help but did not always know where to turn. At the same time, businesses and professionals wanted meaningful ways to give back. Unique Umbrella Effect became the bridge connecting community needs with trusted people, valuable resources and compassionate service.
For more than a decade, we have supported veterans, seniors, caregivers, youth, families and entrepreneurs through educational programs, community health fairs, resource connections, seasonal outreach and our Annual Veterans Ball.
We believe that when people work together, one connection can change a life and one partnership can strengthen an entire community.
